NiT organized its Annual Alumni Meet-Nostalgia 2k24 on 23rd March,2024 bringing together former students from various batches to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate their shared experiences. Attendees shared nostalgic moments and fond memories of their time at the institute, strengthening bonds and camaraderie.
All the alumni were very much excited to meet all the classmates, seniors, juniors, and the faculty members of the department. Most of the Alumni were visiting their Alma mater after a long time and were thrilled to be back in the campus again. The event brought the pre holi spirit and all the alumni were welcomed with the traditional “abir” and a refreshing thandai. The gala event also witnessed a cake cutting ceremony followed by the lunch.The Student volunteers also shared chocolates to little children who came with their parents.
The Alumni Meet served as a platform for alumni to reconnect, celebrate their shared heritage, and contribute to the growth and development of their alma mater. It reinforced the sense of belonging and pride associated with being a part of the institute’s alumni community.The success of this year’s Alumni Meet sets a promising precedent for future editions, with opportunities to expand and enhance the event to further engage alumni and strengthen their ties with the institute.
